Floating Caregivers Needed

As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care, support, and assistance in activities of daily living to our clients. Are you an experienced caregiver that enjoys working in a new environment each week or helping out where you are needed the most? If that is true for you then becoming a floating caregiver sounds like the perfect opportunity! As a floating caregiver you will be able to work in all of our group homes across Pierre and provide support to all of our individuals.

• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with supported individuals
• Assist with medication management and administration, as needed
• Support individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Escort supported individuals to appointments and accompany them on outings
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals of varying needs and diagnoses (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities or health challenges
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Flexible availability, including weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work day shift or overnight shift

• Complex Behavioral homes pay starts at $16.00/hour on weekdays and $23.50/hour on the weekends!
• Traditional homes pay starts at $14.50/hour on the weekdays and $21.25/hour on the weekends!
• Daily pay available!

• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
• Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for accessing spaces and performing ground-level activities
• Walk, stand, and engage in continuous physical activities during cleaning, maintenance, and outdoor tasks?
