This is a role for

Finance System Project Manager

and in this role, you will be project managing Finance Application Implementation Projects. This is an individual contributory role. Also you will lead continuous improvement projects within Global Finance Service and helped in driving standardization in finance organization. You need to expert in creating project plan in MS Project and create reporting in PowerPoint and in PowerBI. The role requires the person to be based out of Irving, Texas.

Responsibilities

Overseeing Finance Application Implementation Projects, including setting up project cadence calls and

leadership updates call.

Requires broad experience in Project Management tools and processes, and ability to: facilitate projects, lead chartering sessions, develop / validate network diagrams, lead integration and compression sessions.

Handled large Finance Tools and Technology implementation, like, Blackline Implementation, OneStream Implementation, Anaplan Implementation etc.

Designing, establishing, and monitoring the organization's project management goals.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborating with clients on using a disciplined project management approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.

Skills Needed:

Education/Experience:

Bachelors Degree in finance plus 6+ years of experience

Planning: Tactical, Strategic:

Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

Analytical Thinking:

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

Influencing:

Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

Managing Multiple Priorities:

Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Relationship Management:

Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Project Management:

Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Requirements Analysis:

Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
