About the Role:

Responsible for developing and constructing processes for the Finance organization within CBRE. Combines experience and a critical eye to review and analyze existing processes, along with making recommendations for improvements. Uses an innovative approach to document new processes and to problem solve through existing process challenges, such as bottle-necks. Works with internal stakeholders to assess and identify areas of improvement for processes, and/or to engineer processes from the ground-up. Responsible for sub-processes within an overarching set of financial and technical processes.

What You'll Do:

Determines the process sequences and interactions of existing processes by working with internal stakeholders/process users to gather requirements to understand the current-state. Maps out current processes, documents procedures/protocols, process flows, approver levels, decision points, and all relevant information. Identifies bottlenecks, pain points, and areas of improvement. Problem solves for any fundamental issues to key processes from a holistic perspective and provides recommendations for process improvements.

Evaluates and proposes process improvements (Waste elimination, Automation, RPA, Centralization near/offshore) and/or engineers new processes from the ground up.

Supports Managers in discussions with primary stakeholders/leaders to document and memorialize context and decisions.

Independently conducts follow-up and more in-depth discussions with secondary stakeholders/process users.

Resolves any process problems and prevents their recurrences.

Meets process output requirements of internal customers.

Identifies and communicates process documentation requirements to technical writers.

Works with the technical writers to provide detailed descriptions of processes ensuring all necessary changes and updates are captured.

Identifies training documentation needs and communicates to technical writers.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, IT, or a related field of study with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

PMP project management certification a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Requires strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Visio

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
