Finance Manager, Last Mile Tech Finance

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to help own critical functions within the rapidly growing Last Mile org within operations.

This Finance Manager will partner with the Routing and Planning team within Amazon Delivery's WW Last Mile technology teams as we build best in class OTR tech solves to improve AMZL's speed, quality and cost structure.

This role is more than finance: it requires ability to invent, go beyond the standard business rules to ?experiment? and ?conceive? together with the business partners to find financial sustainable solutions to scale across the world. This role is strategic in nature (business partnering skills and curiosity are a must!), and is not a typical Finance role. As a member of a growing team, you will deal with a high level of ambiguity and changing priorities. The successful candidate will maneuver through the ambiguity, communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key.

Key job responsibilities

Partner/Support senior leadership on product/project roadmap based on financial and

operational efficiency improvements

Build financial models to support new product and science initiatives

Build

business cases for launching multiple cutting edge technology features

across teams for tech features/product launches

Evaluate tradeoffs and risks and opportunities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

5+ years of finance experience, or Master?s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

MBA, or CPA

Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
