Job Description
The Field Assistant Project Manager (APM) will be responsible for overseeing contracted
specialists to execute high-profile electrical and lighting architecture or entertainment projects
worldwide in a timely manner in conjunction with a Field Project Manager. This requires an
individual who is highly organized, well-grounded, experienced, and self-motivated. Work
shall primarily be done aboard cruise ships, with frequent travel. Teams are sometimes small,
and on such occasions, the APM may be expected to perform some of the duties of a
technician. The APM is a leader who is a true team player, is ready to assist the project team
on time-sensitive, logistic-heavy projects, and is committed to detail and follow-through. This
position is on a contract-by-contract basis.

Requirements
Position Requirements :Travel Frequently
- Projects may last 2-4 weeks, often shorter or longer
- Projects that run back-to-back are also possible
- May include Domestic and International commitments
- Valid documents necessary to travel internationally (i.e. Passport)
Responsible for large-scale LED conversion
Confident to lead and maintain safety regulations
Maintain reports of installation details in coordination with the Project Manager
Ability to stand or walk approximately 8 to 10 hours daily
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Fluency in Spanish
Additional Preferred Skills :Background in dimming and lighting controls a plus
Background in architecture or theatrical lighting a plus
Knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 is a plus
Knowledge of FileMaker Pro is a plus
Skill Requirements:2 years minimum of professional experience in the field(s) of marine electrical / lighting,
commercial electrical / lighting, or related construction
Experience managing crews, teams of 5 - 15
Experience estimating, tracking, and approving time
Experience tracking requests, delivery, and return of materials
Experience managing material counts and distribution
Professional client contact experience
Proficient knowledge of Excel
Language: Must be fluent in English
Additional Languages as a Plus : Fluent or strong knowledge of Polish, German, or Tagalog
Location: USA or Canada and within one hour of a major international airport
