Paul Hastings is seeking Associates a Mid-Level Associate with 2-6 4-6 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience to join our Executive Compensation, Benefits, and ERISA practice.
Ideal candidates will have experience with M&A, private equity, and restructuring transactions from an executive compensation, employee benefits, and ERISA perspective, including diligence review, negotiation of transaction agreements, and IRC ? 280G, as well as strong executive compensation/equity plan experience. Ideal candidates will also have experience working with the SEC?s compensation disclosure rules for U.S. publicly listed companies. Transactional experience with tax-qualified retirement and welfare plans and general employment matters is a plus. This position may reside in New York or Palo Alto.
Outstanding academic credentials and law firm experience are required. Candidates must be admitted to practice and be in good standing in the jurisdiction to which they are applying. Please submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.
The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $235,000 $310,000 and a maximum of $390,000 (annually). The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
