Engineering Technician
in
Columbus, OH . This is a
12 month contract
with intention to convert to permanent/FTE.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Columbus, OH 43215
Pay:
$27.85 an hour + benefits, OT Possible
Schedule:
Fully Onsite, Mon-Fri, either 10:00/10:30am-7pm (30/60 min lunch) or 1:00/1:30pm-10:00pm (30/60 min lunch) [Training will be 2 months, 8:00am - 4:00pm]
What's the Job?
Responsible for performing intermediate level technical work and related activities associated with the planning, engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of company equipment and facilities, including Data Infrastructure Monitoring, Alarm Monitoring, & Rapid Response/Guidance.
Collaboration with TDC, SCC, and field in near Real-Time Decision-Making Application Support.
Actively seeking out information to increase & using decision making skills to perform job more efficiently and cost effectively.
What's Needed?
An Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
2+ years of electrical utility industry work experience
Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience
Valid driver's license and good driving record
