We're Flite, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing the event space. After a year of explosive growth, we're ready to bring on our first Engineering Manager a leader who's both a visionary and a hands-on executor. This role is your chance to set the technical direction, mentor a talented team, and be deeply involved in building world-class products.

• Define and own the technical vision for all Flite products, creating a roadmap that drives innovation and scalability.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
• Stay hands-on: Conduct code reviews, design scalable architectures, and troubleshoot critical issues when needed.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Manage production environments, optimizing system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership teams to ensure technical efforts align with business goals.
• Drive the development of our mobile app, built with Swift, ensuring it remains a top-tier user experience.

• 3+ years of experience in engineering leadership or technical management, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong expertise in full-stack development (Node.js, React, MongoDB, or similar stacks).
• Proven experience in Swift-based iOS app development, with a solid understanding of Apple's ecosystem and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of system design and architecture for scalable, high-availability applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and monitoring tools for production environments.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and best practices in software development (TDD/BDD).
• A visionary leader who can balance long-term strategy with short-term execution.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of mentoring and inspiring your team to achieve their best.
