Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience with a focus on environmental, health and safety-related matters. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting environmental due diligence for real estate sales and corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as counseling clients regarding environmental regulatory matters, including negotiating civil enforcement matters in environmental and health and safety cases and litigating complex environmental cases. Responsibilities include managing matters regarding all environmental media: waste disposal from industrial and power-producing applications, air emissions permitting, water discharge enforcement and permitting, and matters involving environmental reporting requirements. Candidates must be an active member of the Pennsylvania or Washington, DC bar.
