Troutman Pepper Locke eMerge offers clients integrated technology and legal solutions to address complex data-driven challenges in litigation, transactional and compliance matters, and government investigations. Our innovative team of tech-literate attorneys and technologists collaborate to deliver solutions tailored to the unique circumstances of each matter but informed by experience across thousands of other engagements. eMerge is seeking an experienced Senior Discovery Attorney with 5 to 7 years of experience to join any of our offices. Candidates should have experience advising and supporting case teams and clients on all discovery phases of each matter, from preservation through production, as well as pre-litigation information governance, post-production deposition/witness preparation, and trial preparation when applicable. Candidates will collaborate with other eMerge attorneys, technologists, case teams, and clients to craft and manage case-specific workflows and protocols for eDiscovery with the goals of risk mitigation, cost control and defensibility while remaining focused on identifying the information necessary to yield successful case outcomes. Candidates will oversee and ensure quality of work and deliverables for associated eMerge Discovery Attorneys, Project Attorneys, technologists, and service providers (where applicable) to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state that they practice. Candidates should also possess: In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws, regulations and industry best practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Fluency with preservation, filtering and export capabilities of corporate messaging, collaboration, and productivity solutions, including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Expertise with Relativity is strongly preferred. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 dependent on relevant years of experience.
