Polsinelli is seeking a mid-level associate to join our Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. This position is open to any of our firm locations with a strong preference for our Atlanta, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco offices. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience, and superb writing and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in patent preparation and prosecution and hold a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics.
Preferred experience:
Patent prosecution in either electrical engineering or software-related technologies, including:
machine learning/artificial intelligence/neural networks; and/or
radio frequency (RF) circuitry; and/or
hardware and/or communications security (e.g., encryption/decryption).

Compensation: Salary will range between $240,000 - $365,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
