Job Description

Direct Counsel has partnered with an exceptional law firm to locate a skilled Elder Abuse Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients.The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and have a strong background in elder law or personal injury litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in cases involving elder abuse.
Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to build strong cases.
Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
Advocate for clients during mediations, hearings, and trials.
Provide compassionate counsel and support to clients and their families throughout the legal process.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social service organizations to strengthen cases.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in California.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in elder law, personal injury, or related practice areas.
Strong understanding of elder abuse laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Empathy and dedication to serving the elderly population.
