Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward

DBS is seeking reliable and responsible individuals for the role of Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward for our clients in the hospitality industry. The Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen for our clients. Along with ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, the Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward will assist with inventory management and maintain a clean and safe working environment. As a valued member of our team, this individual will also demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent communication skills when interacting with colleagues and clients. You can pick your own schedule with no minimum hours required. Perfect part-time or full-time job for anyone looking to make extra money!

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using the appropriate cleaning products and methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sorting and removing trash and recycling.
• Ensure that all food items are properly washed and stored, and that kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures, including monitoring and recording food temperatures and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with the management of kitchen inventory, including maintaining appropriate levels of cleaning supplies and notifying management of any inventory needs.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure all necessary tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Benefits

Par rate is $15 an hour.
