Digital Designer

As our new Digital Designer, you?ll play an active role in the strategy process?helping uncover meaningful client and user insights that shape thoughtful user experiences and compelling visual concepts. You?ll bring a strong aesthetic sensibility, an understanding of brand, and a passion for creating work that is both beautiful and effective. You?ll apply these skills to exciting, mission-driven clients looking to push boundaries, including WAMU, The World Bank, and Action Against Hunger.

Requirements We don't necessarily care how long you've been doing web design; more important is the passion and talent you bring to the table. With that said, it would be nice if you have the following experience:

• You have been in UX and web design for 2-5 years and can hit the ground running
• You maintain your own website portfolio with a large collection of inspiring work samples
• You have the ability to design in a variety of styles, and execute unique-yet-functional solutions to websites? most common problems
• You can create elegant mobile, responsive web designs
• You are adept at developing logos and visual brand systems
• You are collaborative and can easily participate in meetings with other departments, as well as our clients
• You ideally have experience managing and mentoring more junior designers
• You work with other teams, such as writers and strategists, on high-level creative concepts and pitching work to potential and existing clients
• You are multi-dimensional. In addition to your design skills, we?d love for you to be great at something else... illustration, typography, motion design, front-end coding,. Show us your stuff!

Salary Range $70,000 ? $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
