Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Leader to oversee operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and a passion for leading teams to achieve excellence. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate team members while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise daily operations and manage team performance during assigned shifts.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Train, mentor, and develop team members in their roles, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Monitor production schedules and workflow, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets.
Conduct quality checks on products using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on shift performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC machining and tooling techniques.
Familiarity with AutoCAD for design interpretation and modifications.
Experience using hand tools for fabrication tasks.
Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
Knowledge of CAM programming to optimize machining processes.
