Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Leader to oversee operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and a passion for leading teams to achieve excellence. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate team members while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations and manage team performance during assigned shifts.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members in their roles, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets.
• Conduct quality checks on products using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on shift performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machining and tooling techniques.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for design interpretation and modifications.
• Experience using hand tools for fabrication tasks.
• Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of CAM programming to optimize machining processes.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to effectively lead a team, ensuring motivation and productivity throughout shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.13 - $19.13 per hour

Expected hours: 36 48 per week
