Design Engineer

BKF is hiring 2 Design Engineers - Redwood City & San Francisco!

BKF is looking for two Design Engineers, with one position in Redwood City and the other in San Francisco! We're in search of passionate and inquisitive Design Engineers who possess excellent technical skills and a sincere interest in land development, as we expand across divisions to offer unlimited opportunities!

As a civil engineering Design Engineer at BKF, you will have the chance to work alongside well-established and experienced engineers on a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Design for Site Development
• Grading and Drainage Plans
• Utility Systems for Water and Sewer
• Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies
• Preparation of specifications and cost estimates
• Projects include Residential, Commercial, Mixed-use, Roadway, and Public Works projects

Requirements

• 0 - 3 years of experience in site development and design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, roadways, and public works.
• B.S in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required
• EIT or FE certification preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus!

Benefits

• Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $101,500 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
