Job Description

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-known dental practice in Friendswood, TX to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $20-24/hour PLUS an average monthly bonus of $1,000 with working hours of: MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS: 7:30a - 5p TUESDAYS: 7:30am - 3p EVERY OTHER FRIDAY: 7:30a-12p Duties:

  • Update and maintain client?s dental records
  • Chart in OpenDental
  • Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
  • Take and process X-rays of patients
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Radiology certificate
  • Previous dental assisting experience, preferred
  • Willingness to learn and an upbeat, positive personality
  • Dentrix experience, preferrd
