Job Description

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-known dental practice in Rockwall, TX to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $25-30/hour plus benefits.

This position will primarily be assisting but occasionally will be needed in the front office to greet patients, answer phones, schedule patients, collect payment, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 6am-4pm

Thursday 6am-1pm

Duties:

Update and maintain client's dental records
Chart in Dentrix
Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
Take and process X-rays of patients
Schedule patient appointments
Greet patients and check in
Answer phones
Administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

High School Diploma
Radiology certificate
Minimum of three years of dental assisting experience required
Experience in the front office or cross-trained highly preferred
Willingness to learn and an upbeat, positive personality
