DeFi Analyst

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a DeFi Analyst - candidates need to be based in US/Canada.

We are the first automated, on-chain economic security system enabling crypto protocols to optimize risk management and capital efficiency while protecting user funds. We use world-class custom EVM simulations to understand protocol mechanics and scenario implications.

Leading protocols, including Aave, GMX, dYdX, Venus, Uniswap, and more, use our platform and tools to help them manage and secure billions of dollars in assets.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic DeFi Analyst to join our team, bringing expertise in blockchain analytics and a passion for advancing decentralized finance. You will play a key role in analyzing complex datasets, deriving actionable insights to support our customers, and contributing to the growth and success of our innovative platform.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver insights and recommendations to our customers, leveraging our methodologies and simulation platform.
• Analyze complex datasets, apply statistical techniques, and translate data into valuable insights, producing ongoing reports.
• Create and present data visualizations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Participate in the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions to tackle complex business challenges.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in data analysis and blockchain technology.
• Develop expertise in the protocol design and mechanics of various DeFi protocols.
• Read and interpret smart contracts and analyze blockchain transactions.

Requirements

2+ years experience in web3 + impressive company / academic background.

Demonstrated experience in modeling or analyzing DeFi protocols.

Excellent SQL + Python skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• We provide a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is $120,000 - $150,000.
