The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Lead Teachers for our NAEYC accredited school in Colorado Springs. We are looking for dedicated, experienced Assistant and Lead Teachers who make child and family relationships a priority while understanding and applying early childhood education practices. Job Type: Assistant Infant Teacher, float teacher, Substitutes

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour based on qualifications outlined below

Some day-to-day tasks:

• Complete ongoing state and company training to help equip you to create a safe and engaging environment- we pay for the courses and your time!
• Use curriculum studies to create lesson plans that you and your students will love. Don?t worry, we have lots of ideas to choose from.
• Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
• Provide a safe and inclusive classroom.
• Apply knowledge of child development to foster relationships with children and tailor the play-based environment.
• Adhere to state licensing, health, fire and quality rating procedures
• Have fun!

Requirements

• Lots of Different Ways to Qualify:
• Early Childhood Aide : Must be at least 18 years old and have proof of a high school diploma or GED. Salary range for an Aide is $14.00-$15.00
• Early Childhood Assistant : Applicants must be 18 years old, have proof of a high school diploma or GED and must meet one of the following options: experience in a licensed child care or experience in a child care setting. Salary range for an assistant is $15.00-$16.00
• Early Childhood Lead: Applicants must be 18 years old, have proof of a high school diploma or GED and must meet one of the following options: have a finished degree in education, preferably in early childhood, child development college courses, a current CDA, or at minimum a PDIS credential level 2 or higher. Salary range is $17.00-$19.00. Higher salary to applicants with ability to be a back up bus driver (no CDL required) or a closing teacher.
