The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Childcare & Preschool Teachers for our top-rated schools in Charleston and North Charleston. No nights or weekends!

Pay rate of $16.25-$20.00 per hour , based on experience, education and credentials.

Child Care Teacher Responsibilities:

• Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child's day using our app.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of ECD101 or Associates Degree preferred.
• At least 30 days working in a licensed center required.

Pay rate is determined by education and experience. Employees with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower scale rate. Employees with at least ECD 101 to Associates will be paid mid-scale and applicants with a BA or higher and experience will be paid at the high end of the scale.
