Data Processor Clerk
Onsite-Carol Stream, IL
WORK SCHEDULE:
Schedule to include 4 weekdays and Saturdays. (One day off during the week and Sundays off). Schedule is a guide only, must be flexible and able to work overtime and other hours as needed by unit
Hours of Operation for the department:_ Monday 6 am - completion (typically a 10-12 hour work day)Tue, Thu, Fri, & Sat: 7 am - completion Wed: 6 am to completion
Hourly rate $18.50
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide administrative/clerical support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry, scanning, mail sorting, or similar activities.
Performs data entry of material from source documents to a computer database.
Transcribes routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source documents and/or phone calls into an automated system.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of data/assigned work.
Ability to compare lists of numbers and find mismatches/errors.
Handle multiple assignments.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality, informational accuracy, and production.
Must be able to work under strict deadlines.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to meet the requirements of a background check and drug screen.
Ability to work in multiple programs simultaneously.
Good attendance/punctuality
1-2 years' experience.
Ten Key Experience.
complete typing assessment (40 wpm)
Preferred Qualifications and Success Factors:
Accurate typing skills
Attention to detail/accurate typing skills
Data entry skills and 10,000 KPH numeric
Manual dexterity
Ability to use PC, 10 key, calculator, and/or data entry devices.
Payment processing experience desired.
