About the Job

We are looking for immediate joiners.

Hiring for Database Engineer, who have experience in AWS Redshift or related technologies. The role will be responsible for maintaining / supporting our Redshift instance which deals millions of records on a daily basis.

Debugging skills and experience is a must. Experience with hot fixing breaks by log reading (using tech like Cloudwatch) will get preference.

Good to have skills; Python, SQL, Glue, Lambda.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
• Familiar with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Should be extremely good at SQL.
• Experience handling and monitoring support ticket queues and acting accordingly based on SLAs and priority.
• Ability to monitor alerts and application logs for data processing issues and troubleshooting.
• Should have experience in log reading and debugging. (CloudWatch experience in preferred)
• Familiar with cloud-based data technologies such as AWS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers and BI team.

Good to have:

• Experience with SQL, DBT and database technologies such as Redshift, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Familiar with programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with data ingestion and orchestration tools such as AWS Glu.
• Experience with Tableau server administration, including user management and permission.

• Should have 4+ years of experience. Relevant should be 3 years with the above mentioned expertise.
