QA Lead

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 6+ years Location: Bangalore, Bengaluru JobType: full-time Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience in software quality engineering.

• Deep expertise in test automation - hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages for writing test scripts, utilities, and custom tooling.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and how to integrate automated testing seamlessly.
• Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
• Proven ability to build quality processes from scratch in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - you can translate quality metrics into business impact.
• A product mindset - you care about the user experience, not just the test results.
