Data Engineer

Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients' recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.

The Job:

• Analyze, design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT (Extract Transform Load/Extract Load Transform) processes and applications using Snaplogic and SSIS ETL/ELT tools and processes.
• Work with application developers, business partners, management, and Data Warehouse team.
• Develop ETL/ELT procedures based on business requirements and service level agreements.
• Deliver quality data integration projects.
• Review requirements, architecture, and design components of ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Develop and document systems, processes and logic required to expose existing data sets in warehouse to end users for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Monitor ETL/ELT applications for performance and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnosis complex software and data problems.
• Perform packaging and release management.
• 100% telecommute position reporting to San Diego, CA.

Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

1 year of experience in ETL development, software engineering, software development or a combination of these fields. Employer will accept pre- or post-Master's degree experience. All experience must be post-Bachelor's degree.

Work experience to include 1 year of experience with all the skills listed below:

• ETL development using SSIS or SnapLogic.
• Writing, performance tuning, and debugging SQL Server stored procedures.
• Working with Transactional or Fact-Dimensional Databases.
• Utilizing Data Warehouse and BI Reporting methodologies.
• Logical and Physical Database Design.
• Working with SQL and T-SQL.
• Testing self-drafted code.
• Using source control tools, to include Bitbucket and SVN.
• Any and all experience can be gained concurrently.
• 40 hrs./wk.

Salary Range: $121,368.00 to $148,492.00 per year.
