Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and execute projects from start to finish.
• Develop and optimize Python and SQL scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing data marts to support analytics and reporting.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and consistency in datasets and processes.
• Validate client-provided data for quality, completeness, and integrity.
• Implement robust testing and validation frameworks to ensure data quality.
• Create impactful data visualizations and reports for internal stakeholders, including marketing and sales teams, with potential visibility to clients.
• Automate recurring workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Actively contribute ideas during team discussions and propose innovative projects to add value to the organization.

Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent education or work experience
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience with Python, with demonstrated mastery of pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, and visualization techniques.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A creative mindset and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical or financial data analysis.
• Experience building and maintaining automated workflows.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and tools like Dask.
• Experience building Tableau dashboards.

Location

• This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to meaningful projects in a supportive and dynamic environment.
