Job Title: Datacenter Technician - Technical IT 2
Location: Irving, TX
Pay Range:
$22-27/HR on Experis W2
What's the Job?
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of IT equipment according to specific instructions and safety protocols.
Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper setup of grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, quickly identifying causes and replacing faulty components as needed.
Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes, following standard procedures.
Monitor systems for equipment failures or errors, responding to program error messages effectively.
What's Needed?
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
AS in computer programming or equivalent training
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
2-4 years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and manage one's own time.
