Our client, a leader in technology services, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting critical data center functions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Quincy, WA
Duration : 18 Month Contract
Pay Range:
$25 per hour +
Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Enrollment, 401K Saving Options, 15 days of PTO & weekly pay.
What's the Job?
Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance.
Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions.
Conduct physical audits of data center assets.
What's Needed?
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays.
0-2 years of experience in a related field.
