Requirements
Data Analyst: 1.0 Scientific Information Services Level I (1)
- Help create processes for social science data acquisition and stewardship and support change management across NESDIS to adopt those processes
- Provide day-to-day support for stakeholders using NESDIS data acquisition and stewardship systems
- Provide expert guidance and support on data analysis to a variety of user engagement projects to help NESDIS extract value from its data (unstructured data, NLP/ML applications, multi-modal)
- Design and manage collection, reporting and visualization dashboards
- Perform analyses on user engagement data
- Experience working with a variety of data management and visualization tools, such as
PowerBI,
Tableau
Google Looker Studio
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management systems a plus

BA/BS in a quantitative science or social science field, such as economics, statistics, or data science, familiar with Natural Language Processing applications and aspects of unstructured databases.
5+ years of experience working in the field
