Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our KBR Clearfield Team. The qualified candidate will play a critical role in providing cybersecurity support for the A-10 / F-16 HMD/HoBIT Scorpion Test Stand. In the performance of duties, the candidate will create, draft and submit documentation ensuring cyber resilience of the HMD/HoBIT Scorpion Test Stand. The candidate should also possess knowledge of the NIST SP 800-37 and other applicable NIST publications necessary to successfully complete the task.
Roles and Responsibilities ?
Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills while collaborating with senior leadership, government agencies and the KBR Cyber Team.
Support cybersecurity initiatives for the HMD/HoBIT Scorpion Test Stand, including conducting risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, configuration management, and executing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve system certification and Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation.
Assist with security investigations and incident response as needed.
Perform periodic reviews of the ATO and capture hardware/software modifications to ensure the HMD/HoBIT Test Stand remains cyber resilient, secure and operational.
Possess clear understanding of current and upcoming cybersecurity standards to provide accurate guidance and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
+ CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Prior experience with aircraft systems, particularly for military aircraft.
Experience with avionics systems and familiarity with government certification processes and aerospace standards.
+ Stong understanding of computers hardware and software architecture.
