Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Credit Manager who is excited to join a high growth Company. The successful candidate will be a thought leader who can help build and scale a best-in-class credit management program. The candidate will be responsible for managing a global Accounts Receivable portfolio, including a captive financing entity, from a risk perspective to identify risky customers at scale.

In this role, the candidate will drive new model development, coordinate with third party credit bureaus to develop best in class credit models and work with the Collection Manager to update procedures to action credit insights. The ideal candidate should possess strong people and credit management skills, directly support continuous improvement initiatives, be highly analytical, resourceful, Customer-focused and team oriented, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. This is a management role directly managing a team of credit analysts; demonstrated success managing a team is a must.

Your Impact

Manages mid-sized team of Credit Analysts on a global basis

Review, investigate, approve, or decline requests consistent with Credit & Collections Policy

Evaluate and enforce established credit policies and procedures across our locations

Perform credit analysis through review of financial statements, credit bureau reports, and any other information available to assist with the assessment

Presents business reviews with Leadership Team, providing portfolio status, metrics, insights and recommendations on risks associated with customers

Monitor system order holds daily to ensure continuous flow of orders

Maintains and updates customer credit data in ERP system

Prepare reporting to support external audit and internal team deliverables

Creates, maintains and updates Credit Team?s KPIs

Ensure compliance with SOX 404 key controls

Provide ongoing development & training to credit staff, utilizing various training opportunities

Your Experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent or equivalent military experience

+ Minimum 8+ years of credit analysis experience

Minimum 3+ years of management of a global credit team

Experience with SAP ERP (S4/HANA a plus)

+ Thorough knowledge of financial statement analysis

Critical thinker with a risk-based approach mindset and strong problem-solving skills

Ability to build relationships across multiple functions and implement new processes

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and execute with accuracy and efficiency

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required

Attention to detail

High level of accuracy, resourceful

Organizational and time management skills

Experience with high technology clients in the Hardware, Software and/or SaaS space a plus

Proficiency in Google Suite a plus

Proficiency in GETPAID a strong plus

The Team

Our Credit & Collections team is a global team with personnel in the US and India. The team responds to external and internal requests daily. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, high level of accuracy, resourceful, organizational and time management skills. We partner closely with Accounts Receivable, sales, order fulfillment, revenue, and other operational stakeholders to ensure timely customer payments. Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $100000- $161500/YR.
