Counsel - Walmart Marketplace

Position Summary...

Join the Marketplace Legal team as a Counsel to provide strategic advice and legal counsel to the Walmart Marketplace business; provide daily advice and counsel to Marketplace operations teams on a broad range of subjects related to third party seller relationships; draft, review, and edit contracts, policies, program documents, and communications; and develop and leverage internal and external partnerships to address complex and novel legal issues arising from the third-party seller business.

What you'll do...

• Identify diverse operational legal issues originating from cutting edge strategic initiatives.

• Craft novel legal solutions to drive business growth.

• Draft, review, and edit contracts.

• Counsel business leaders on alternative legal and business strategies.

• Collaborate with various Global Governance and business partners to timely deliver cross-functional projects.

• Partner with compliance and litigation professionals to mitigate trending risk.

• Evaluate and assist with the development of standard operating procedures, policies, guides, training, and communications.

• Engage regulators and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
