Job Summary
Reporting to the leader of the Transactional Center of Expertise (COE), the Counsel will be a key member of the Law and Business Environment (LBE) team and will work closely with senior sourcing leaders, other members of Transactional COE and LBE, and other stakeholders to deliver transactional legal services with a focus on end-user satisfaction and outcomes. The Counsel is responsible for negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a variety of global commercial and sourcing contracts, providing advice on general business matters, supervising outside counsel (as necessary), and developing and improving processes. The Counsel should have experience supporting sourcing, preferably in a global manufacturing or technology company, broad legal skills and a superior business judgment, as well as the ability to effectively manage risk, while pursuing company strategies. Experience supporting an international manufacturing company strongly preferred.
This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of sourcing and other commercial contracts 70%:
Provide commercial counsel and advice for internal business customers and manage outside counsel 10%
Assist with process improvement for contract management and develop and maintain legal templates, playbooks, and contracting standards 10%
Provide legal support for M&A due diligence, support special projects, and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters 10%

The range for this position is $131,000.00 to $235,700.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant?s experience and geographic location.
