Cost Analyst

RATE OF PAY $30-33 DOE

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inventory Accounting is an Hourly/Non Exempt role at our corporate office which will be responsible for costing lumber and manufacturing charges to sales; Invoicing customers; Processing mill invoices into the Great Plains system; Research any discrepancies between the Great Plains and XBI systems; fostering professional and trustful relationships with both internal and external customers.

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Access sales orders via computer and apply additional fees to arrive at actual cost of lumber sold

Process customer invoices

Receive lumber purchases into plant inventory

Enter transfers of lumber from one location to another

Research and code mill invoices for payment

Maintain accurate cost/count of inventory

Communicate with sales, purchasing and plant personnel regarding orders

Reconcile inventory issues at month-end

QTR Physical Inventory support

Perform cost analysis

Process inventory payables

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Organized and attentive to detail

Strong math aptitude

Able to work with interruptions, while maintaining professionalism; able to multi-task

Remain patient and calm under stress

Able to work independently and as a team-player

Computer literate, with competence in Excel and Word and able to learn new software

Communicate effectively and pleasantly with fellow employees, vendors and customers

Transactional and Volume focused

Minimum of 5 years accounting clerical experience; preferably with Inventory Control, AR, AP

Associates degree or higher

Abe to work Overtime hours as needed

Acumatica experience highly preferred
