Armstrong Teasdale is seeking a lateral associate with trusts & estates expertise to join its Corporate Services Group as a Trusts & Estates Associate in our St. Louis office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working on complex estate, tax, and wealth planning matters for a variety of clients, including individuals and families, banks and trusts companies, wealth management advisors, and private foundations. Required Education: Juris Doctor Preferred Education: LLM in Taxation is a plus Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the Firm conducts business; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements. Required Experience: 3+ years' experience in complex estate, tax and wealth planning matters, including but not limited to: developing, drafting and implementing estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, advance directives and powers of attorney; preparation, review, and analysis of tax forms, including income tax returns, gift tax returns and estate tax returns, and; business succession planning. Prior experience working at a law firm is a plus.
