The Paralegal is responsible for handling projects and court filings for the lawyers in the Firm. The Paralegal will be responsible for legal research and compiling data from a variety of reference sources, document organization and/or retrieval. The workload will vary based on client needs and Firm assignments. Litigation, corporate, health regulatory knowledge/experience is helpful. Responsibilities: Assist with Firm administrative projects as needed. Conduct statutory, case law regulatory, and fact factual legal research under the supervision of a lawyer for the Firm Summarize depositions; prepare witness binders; organize and control deposition exhibits Proofread prepared documents; cite check, shepardize, and ?bluebook? citations; draft and/or review legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and other factual memoranda under the supervision of a lawyer for the Firm Firm. Conduct file searches and assist with document review and various other tasks related to producing electronic and hard copy documents Assemble documents. Assist with due diligence efforts including organizing, analyzing, and organize factual material managing relevant materials in preparation for depositions, trials electronic and hearings; organize and control trial exhibits Review hard copy formats. Prepare and organize documents to be filed with state or federal courts as well as government or administrative agencies; conduct filings as well as electronically file same. Flexibility with providing support to other practice areas (including corporate and health regulatory) and across multiple office locations Assist locations. Draft and assist with Firm administrative projects preparations of legal documents including but not limited to memoranda, complaints, answers, subpoenas, motions and notices of appeal. The expected salary range for this position ranges from $90,000-$118,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
