Corporate Counsel (Attorney)

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Charleston, SC office.

Job Description

• Review, draft, and negotiate supply, purchase, service, transportation, and related agreements for commercial transactions.
• Handle a wide variety of corporate and commercial projects.
• Provide practical legal counsel and solutions to clients on business-related matters.
• Engage in significant client contact and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of corporate transactional experience (M&A experience is a plus, but not required).
• Strong business acumen and ability to quickly grasp business concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar required.
• Eagerness to ask questions, learn, and contribute to a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $190,000.00 - $340,000.00 per year
