Corporate Counsel, Amazon Air

We're looking for a talented lawyer to support our dynamic Amazon Air business, which manages a global air cargo network that includes a fleet of over 100 cargo aircraft serving more than 70 airports in North America, Europe, and Asia with 250 flights daily operated by our air carrier partners.

You'll serve as counsel on commercial and regulatory matters for Amazon Air ? helping to shape long term strategy, finding opportunities to handle legal issues in creative ways, and building processes that address risk and allow the business the flexibility and freedom to move quickly. This attorney will be primarily responsible for supporting Amazon Air in fleet, technical operations, air carrier, and ground services transactions and related regulatory matters.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of legal experience

Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Experience working in the aviation sector

Experience representing corporate clients in contract negotiations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
