Job Description


We're seeking a Content Editor & Community Manager to join our growing marketing team. This hybrid role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a knack for editing, and a talent for building and nurturing online communities.

You'll be responsible for ensuring our content is clear, accurate, and aligned with our brand voice while also engaging with our online audience to build trust, boost retention, and spark meaningful conversations around insurance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities Content Editing & Creation (60%)
  • Edit, proofread, and optimize blog posts, articles, newsletters, and website content for grammar, clarity, tone, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to translate technical insurance content into user-friendly language.
  • Maintain and update content calendars in alignment with campaigns, seasonal trends, and business goals.
  • Ensure brand voice and regulatory compliance across all content formats.
  • Write content as needed including microcopy, FAQs, and social captions.
Community Management (40%)
  • Manage and grow our presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, professional manner.
  • Develop strategies to increase engagement and brand loyalty among current and prospective clients.
  • Organize and moderate online discussions, webinars, and Q&A sessions.
  • Track community insights and feedback to share with internal teams and inform content strategy

Requirements

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in content editing, community management, or related roles (insurance or finance industry a plus).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media trends.
  • Comfortable using tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, Hootsuite/Buffer, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creativity with compliance in a regulated industry.
