Job Description


Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting an associate to join its construction transactional practice in one of the following of its offices: Boulder, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Des Moines, Fort Wayne (IN), Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, and Princeton (NJ). Our ideal candidate will possess four to six years of construction-related contract transactional experience, including drafting and negotiating construction contracts, EPC contracts, alternative delivery documents, supply agreements, purchase of goods contracts, service agreements, engineering agreements, consulting agreements, and a variety of other similar contracts for large-scale projects, including major energy and infrastructure projects. The candidate should be ready to apply that experience to interesting and challenging matters in a thriving and fast-paced practice. Excellent writing skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required.

The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $190,000? $315,000.
Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker?s total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
