Construction Associate

Winstead PC is seeking a 2-5 year attorney for a position with our Construction practice group in Nashville. The role is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement in the firm. We are seeking an attorney with experience in complex construction projects in litigation contexts. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

? Construction Disputes: Some experience in construction disputes and litigation including, but without limitation, disputes relating to delay claims, liens, compensation and expenses, construction and design defects. Courtroom and deposition experience is preferred.

? Construction background: A pre-law background or previous career in the construction industry is a plus but not required.

• Strong academics: Candidates should be able to provide a transcript from a top tier law school.

• Writing skills: Exceptional writing skills and experience in complex legal drafting in both transactional and litigation matters. A writing sample is required.
