Commercial HVAC Service Branch Manager

Based in the Wallingford, CT area preferred, this position will be responsible for leading a team of intermediate to experienced Field Service professionals, reviewing escalated issues, establishing and maintaining a good relationship with key customers, and respond to escalated complaints from high-profile customers.

Primary responsibilities in this role include:

Manage P&L and performance across geographical footprint; proactively views the area monthly/annually with 3/5-year plan

Set growth strategy for the market ? identifying key customers and verticals and execute on the strategy ? proactively expand the footprint in the territory

Communicate a vison and culture to a team of technicians and service managers, fostering a strong culture of teamwork and evolution ?

Implement culture of safety ? be accountable for safety procedures and conduct safety briefings

Manage customer escalations?

Account manager or leader on team of 1 -2 large accounts in Area?

Drive performance management, technician development and corrective actions?

Manage and reduce attrition through engaging in the community and local union

Manage and coaches Service Managers ?

Be involved in community activities past typical HVAC Industry programs/events?, building the Carrier Brand in the area

Proactively communicates to leadership on state of the business and implemented actions?

Manage relationship with internal partners and distribution partners

Collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years working experience in the HVAC, Construction, Mechanical or Technical skilled trades industry

High School Diploma/GED

Ability to pass an MVR background check

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred

4+ years of service management experience in the Commercial HVAC industry

Working knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC systems

Technical aptitude

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or relevant field

Proactive and able to balance multiple priorities

Excellent communication, both written and oral

Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to navigate SalesForce.com, ServiceMax, and other business applications

Pay Range:

$112,828 - $157,959 Annually
