Commercial Real Estate Staff Attorney

Venable LLP?s Commercial Real Estate Group seeks an associate experienced attorney with a minimum of three years of law firm deep experience in all aspects of commercial real estate work to join the group practice as a staff attorney. This opportunity is open in our Baltimore, Tysons, or Washington, DC all markets where Venable has an office. The qualified candidate has a minimum of three eight years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm environment. In this role, the candidate will work closely alongside the practice?s Chambers-ranked partners on setting and is well-versed in all aspects of commercial acquisition, disposition, development, financing, leasing, and leasing transactions. disposition of real estate. Candidates must also be proficient in title and survey due diligence. Borrower-side financing experience is a plus, but not required. Our commercial practice has national reach and an exciting mix of complex transactional work with a range of clients including national and regional developers, REITs, equity investors, owners and operators. The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, skills and outstanding academic credentials. attention to detail, is entrepreneurial, a problem solver, and values providing top-notch legal service. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction?s bar. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
