Job Description


Carlton Fields is seeking an associate with four to six years of commercial litigation experience to be resident in its New Jersey office for its Metropolitan New York litigation practice. Ideal for the NY/NJ litigator tired of the commute into Manhattan. Position offers significant opportunities for growth and experience, while contributing to a close team. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated writing skills are required. Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work individually, on client matters in an environment where drive and client service are valued. Federal clerkship, State clerkship, and Review or Journal experience are preferred. Experience with complex insurance coverage related litigation is a plus, though not required.
