The COMINT Lead, Systems Engineer is responsible for working with customers to comprehensively design and implement new system functionality.

They will write requirements, support development, perform integration testing of new or modified products in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne and ground-based platforms.

The COMINT Lead will verify and validate new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy functionality continues to work as intended.

Operational COMINT system experience.

Ability and willingness to travel.

RF design understanding and experience.

Ability to perform RF cascade analysis, properly distribute and balance gain to minimize system noise and maximize dynamic range.

Ability to make accurate measurements with VNAs, Spec. Analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes etc.

Understanding of sampling theory.

Understanding of RF communication systems, modulations, encoding and multiplexing.

Understanding of single and multi-ship direction finding techniques including technology trade-offs, Watson-watt, doppler, correlative interferometry, TDOA, and FOA.

Comfort with MATLAB scripting.

Familiarity with Hypervisor, containers, and Linux operating including comfort with Command Line Linux.

Basic network familiarity and awareness of the OSI model.

Ability to support proposals and bidding.

Familiarity with ERP systems specifically SAP.

Basic networking and familiarity with NIST Publications.

Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Vision, and PowerPoint.

Proficiency with Linux administration, Bash scripting, Windows PowerShell, Windows administration, Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap.

Ability to read, interpret data, S2P, antenna patterns, tuner coherency, tuner sfdr, enob.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with nine (9) years of COMINT Systems Engineering experience.

Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of COMINT Systems Engineering experience.

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of COMINT Systems Engineering experience.

Must have an Active Secret DoD clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI clearance.

Must be able to successfully obtain a Class III Flight Physical.

Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Degree in a related field such as Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or other.

Cybersecurity Certification such as Sec+, CASP+, CySA or CISSP.

Prior military or SIGINT operator experience.

FDTD or MoM modeling experience.
