Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, the CNC Machinist plays a pivotal role in the manufacturing environment by ensuring CNC machines are inspected, programmed, and function properly. You will be responsible for programming (Mastercam), machining setup, operation, and quality control measurements related to the product produced. You will work autonomously and within a small team cross functionally to reach company goals and objectives. At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN structure. In this position you will work from 6:00AM ? 2:30PM EST.

• Utilize Mastercam to program 3-axis CNC milling machines
• Operate manual machines as needed (lathe, millers, drill presses)
• Interact with Design, Cost, and Process Engineering team members as needed
• Inspect and evaluate equipment and product through various tools, calipers, and measurement devices.
• Follow proper documentation and reporting standards to ensure data is recorded and escalated accordingly.
• Communicate well between departments to notify leaders and engineers to troubleshoot issues.
• Work cross functionally to support company LEAN and High-Performance team objectives and initiatives to promote company culture.
• Prioritize and multi-task work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
• Use appropriate PPE for designated areas.
• U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 6+ years of hands-on machine shop experience.
• Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and use of Microsoft Office.
• Must demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills independently and within a team.
• Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.

Competitive Compensation

• Pay Range: $27.50/hr to $38.50/hr
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program
