CNC Machinist

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing of high-quality heat transfer products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Pay Range:

Based on skill and experience ($20-$30 / hour)

What's the Job?

Operate CNC machines (Okuma and Haas machinesG? code) to cut and shape precision workpieces.

Read and interpret blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.

Set up, align, and secure tools and workpieces on CNC machines.

Visually and audibly monitor machine operations to ensure conformance to specifications.

Assist and train other CNC Machinists in machine setup procedures.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school diploma or relevant work experience preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of related experience in CNC machining.

Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools accurately.

Ability to read and work to set tolerances and blueprints.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
