Class A CDL Driver

We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated semi-local position offering strong pay, consistent freight, and reliable scheduling. Drivers will haul no-touch furniture freight between distribution facilities throughout Connecticut and New York, including Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking steady miles, assigned equipment, and a predictable Monday?Friday schedule.

Drivers can expect overnight runs with 2?3 nights away from home each week. Freight is 100% no-touch and primarily drop-and-hook, making this a driver-friendly operation with minimal physical labor.

Position Highlights:

• Average annual earnings of $80,000+
• $0.61?$0.64 CPM
• Average 2,000 miles per week
• No-touch freight
• Assigned automatic sleeper trucks
• Monday?Friday schedule

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Reliable transportation to and from the terminal
• Ability to operate overnight routes
• Must be comfortable supporting other regional accounts when needed

Job Details:

• Operate throughout Connecticut and New York
• Deliver furniture between distribution centers
• Average 8 loads and 9?12 stops per week
• 100% no-touch freight
• Drop-and-hook operation
• Start times around 5:00 PM
• Average 2?3 overnights per week
• Additional work opportunities available during peak seasons

Additional Pay:

• $15.50 per stop
• $24 per live load or live unload
• $50 truck moves
• $15?$15.50/hour for safety training and miscellaneous work
• $200?$300 per day for outsourced work
