Civil Drafting Technician (OKC)

Blew & Associates, P.A. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Drafting Technician to join our team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and drafting of civil engineering projects, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts. You will work closely with engineers to produce high-quality technical drawings and ensure that all specifications and regulations are met. Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using Civil 3D or similar software.
• Coordinate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and analyze field data to ensure the accuracy of designs.
• Assist in preparing design calculations and technical reports.
• Make adjustments to drawings based on feedback from team members and project managers.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and local regulations.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on drafting progress.

Requirements

• Associate degree in drafting, civil engineering technology, or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with land surveying concepts and site design is beneficial.
• Previous experience in drafting or as a Civil Drafting Technician is preferred.
