The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of SAGA Diagnostics, guiding the company through a phase of significant growth and innovation in the oncology diagnostics sector. This executive level position will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of commercial strategies, driving revenue growth, and enhancing company profitability.

The CCO will collaborate closely with the executive team to define the vision and strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment across all commercial functions including sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. A strong focus will be placed on cultivating key partnerships, expanding market presence, and enhancing the overall customer experience in the oncology domain.

As a key member of the executive team, the CCO will also be instrumental in shaping the organizational culture, fostering an environment of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team, ensuring accountability and results-oriented performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, create strategic partnerships, and explore new market segments.
  • Drive revenue growth by optimizing sales processes, enhancing marketing strategies, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and operational teams to ensure successful product launches and alignment of commercial strategies with product offerings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform commercial strategies.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to assess commercial performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing SAGA Diagnostics at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure that all commercial practices comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the biotechnology or diagnostics industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in oncology diagnostics, including deep knowledge of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
  • Experience and or commercial understanding of MRD
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on team development and mentorship.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation to achieve sales objectives.
  • Commitment to fostering a customer-centric culture and enhancing client relationships.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
